[It's just a normal day.
Honestly, that's it. Zuko is usually up at the crack of dawn but he runs just a tad late today -- blame it on a touch of uncalled for insomnia. Housemates who are lighter sleepers might have noticed him roaming the living room and kitchen in the middle of the night, quietly making some tea. Finally falling asleep in the early morning hours, Zuko is a little late out the door to his usual early morning practice. He eats on the "run," then dives into his usual firebending routine without pause.
Mid-morning finds him ducking into the grocery store for a drink and, of all things, a loaf of bread. He'll be out by the lake until well after lunch, idly tossing bits of bread toward the ducks there.
Hey, it's a lazy day. He'll take it.
It's mid-afternoon when he opens the journal and (sorta) asks a question.]
Hey. I know people out there have to have some favorite quotes and saying from their worlds. I'd like to hear them. [Yeah, okay. He's bored. What better way to strike up some conversation?]
